Fesik IN MOURNING FOR THE CHARLES HENKE
With deep sadness we inform you that Master Charles Henke, 8th dan and for twenty years President of Fesik, is not the affection of his family at the age of 73 years ago this September 13th for an incurable disease. They give the ad his wife Rita and sons Sean and Denise.
The incoming President and the entire council Aschedamini Louis Federal Fesik join in mourning.
Carlo Henke began practicing karate in 1966 under the guidance of Maestro Hiroshi Shirai In 1969 he founded the Nenryu, Sport Karate Association which is active since 1974 in Verbania.
Under his leadership Nenryu As athletes come to win world titles, more than 100 European and Italian films, becoming one of the most qualified karate associations in Italy. In 1971 he became Master of the year following an international referee;
in 1973 became part of the European Arbitration Commission (UEK / EKU)
in 1982 he became Chairman of the Technical Commission of FIKDA (Italian Federation of Karate and related disciplines) in 1993 is a member Founder and President of Fesik (Italian Sport Karate Federation);
in 1996, is a founding member and Vice President of WKC (World Karate Confederation) in 2005 is a founding member and President of WUKO
(World Union of Karate Organization).
After the federal elections on September 4, for which he had decided not to run again, he became Honorary President of Fesik.
It 's a great loss for the entire world of martial arts and will always remain in our hearts.
The funeral will be held at the church of San Vittore Cannobio (VB) Wednesday, September 15 at 15:00.
