Comments and information:
Located away from main roads, and housed in a warehouse in the industrial area of \u200b\u200bPovegliano Veronese,
this Centro Benessere merita comunque una attenta visita.
Al primo accesso viene richiesta una registrazione gratuita per ottenere una tessera personalizzata, preparata quasi in tempo reale.
Tutto il necessario (Accappatoio, asciugamano e ciabatte) viene fornito all'ingresso.
Le zone Massaggi e Sauna si trovano al primo piano, suddivise da un piccolo bar dove è possibile consumare tisane, juices etc.. and where, every afternoon at 17:00, are offered tea and biscuits. In general, all the setting is modern and rational.
Access to the sauna area is via a sliding door, pass it leads to the common rectangular small for the truth, a central bench allows you to consume tea, fruit and fresh water always present to one side of the bench itself, as well as allowing a short rest to the patrons. The feature that is immediately evident is the darkness! The whole environment is in shadow, almost as disturbing is the low brightness. Just to give you an idea, the environment is brighter than the Finnish Sauna!
All around, clockwise, we find:
Turkish Bath: - Very large, I'd be able to accommodate a dozen people stretched out on 2 sets of steps.
Shower spray flavored
Laconicum: - Temperature of 60 °, the octagonal structure can easily accommodate up to 14 people.
shower spray mint-flavored and Kneipp.
Frigidarium + cold bucket
Finnish Sauna: - 90 degrees, very very wide, 20 seats or more.
In a side room, relaxation area, there are a dozen loungers with blankets on.
Notes: - The main feature that differentiates this from other wellness center in the province of Verona, assimilating it to the equivalent structures in Alto Adige, is the prohibition to use the custom in wellness!
course, being Verona, entry is prohibited for persons under 18 years .
But back to us, not just the the € 25 entrance fee, entitling also access the "pool area"; here, along with a small circular whirlpool 4 / 6 places, there is also a pool of hot water, on the whole enjoyable. For those, particularly modest, did not have the costume, are available at the reception slip "disposable" and headphones (obligatory?).
A final point on the visitors: unfortunately, be in the province of Verona (and not in South Tyrol) also has some negative side, if only for the type of customer. Groups of girls and elderly couples in fact, evidently from the local "Bar Sport", loudly put all aware of their problems, desires, plans ... contravention of the "Golden Rule of SILENCE!
Final Considerations: - Objectively, considering the second alternative, I think € 25 are a bit 'too much for a structure certainly interesting, but not as high quality than others. Even the decision to close the center to 19:30 (Monday to Friday) severely limits access to those, many, after a day at work you would spend a couple of hours relaxation. For the latter, myself included, the only access is confined to the weekend.
